The answer to your question is as follows:
It is not right to pray for impossible things, similarly, it is not right to pray for illegal and forbidden things, things that a person does not have the right to pray for, for example, it is not right to pray for a miracle; such prayers are not answered. Similarly, there are some conditions for the acceptance of dua, if these conditions are not met, dua even for a halal item is not answered.
يحرم سوال العافية فقال الثاني من المحرم ان نسال المستحيلات العادية وليس نبیا ولا وليا في الحال كسوال الاستغناء عن النفس في الهواء‘‘ (رد المحتار: ج 1، ص: 522)
